- Description
- Psycho-educational and support group for foster parents, adoptive parents or kinship caregivers of children who have, or are suspected of having, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
Psycho-educational Groups
A 10-week program that assists in understanding and managing the needs of individual they are caring for. Provides information, resources and discussion. Includes weekly themes, educational presentation and supportive discussion.
Support Groups
Monthly follow-up to psycho-educational group in order to maintain and build on the information and skills developed. Participants have the option of coming to any or all of the ongoing support groups. - Eligibility
