Children's Mental Health Program


Description
Provides services and support to children and their families that address behavioural and mental health needs. Client-based services/support will depend on the needs of the client, however can include:
  • service coordination
  • crisis intervention
  • advocacy on behalf of the client
  • referrals
  • peer counseling
  • one to one activities

Both clients and participants are invited to join in workshops, presentations, healing circles, talking circles, tradition based activities and recreational activities that are offered by the program.

Aboriginal children and youth ages 12-15 years at risk of poor mental health
