An four bed transitional housing program under the Niagara Regional Native Centre for Indigenous and women with or without children who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
Abbey House provides a safe opportunity for transitional living for women and children. Abbey House will also support women on a outreach basis. Abbey House empowers and encourages women to make positive long lasting change. Priority is given to Indigenous women and children and the length of stay is one year.- Eligibility
- Indigenous women 18 years and over and their children. Women must be at least 3 months clean and sober. Indigenous women under 18 accepted on a case by case basis.
