Niagara Parents - Nurse Family Partnership
- Description
A free, evidence-based program providing personalized one-on-one supports to first time parents under 25 years old. Parents enrolled in NFP receive regular home visits from a public health nurse starting in early pregnancy until the child is two years old.
A public health nurse can help parents:- Have a healthier pregnancy
- Understand how your baby grows and learns
- Work on your own personal goals as a parent
- Connect with programs in the community
Participation is voluntary.
- Eligibility
- Participants must be under the age of 25, and less than 28 weeks gestation at the time of enrollment. Must be living in the Niagara region.
