Niagara Parents - Nurse Family Partnership

Description

A free, evidence-based program providing personalized one-on-one supports to first time parents under 25 years old. Parents enrolled in NFP receive regular home visits from a public health nurse starting in early pregnancy until the child is two years old.

A public health nurse can help parents:

  • Have a healthier pregnancy
  • Understand how your baby grows and learns
  • Work on your own personal goals as a parent
  • Connect with programs in the community

Participation is voluntary.

Eligibility
Participants must be under the age of 25, and less than 28 weeks gestation at the time of enrollment. Must be living in the Niagara region.
