- medical equipment loans program
- support group meetings for patients and their caregivers
- guest speakers provide insight and information on various topics of interest
- accepts donations of gently used medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, lift chairs, and hoyer lifts; pick-ups can be arranged and tax receipts are provided
- Eligibility
- ALS and Lou Gehrig's disease, patients must register with the society
- Application Process
- Registration with the Society is normally done at the time of diagnosis * To donate medical equipment, call or send an email with the following information: equipment type (description, including manufacturer, model), approximate age of equipment (in years), first and last name, email address, and telephone number
