Services and activities for those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS):- information and referral
- educational program for health professionals
- public education
- medical equipment loans program
- support group meetings for patients and their caregivers
- guest speakers provide insight and information on various topics of interest
- accepts donations of gently used medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, lift chairs, and hoyer lifts
- pick-ups can be arranged and tax receipts are provided
- Eligibility
- Individuals diagnosed with any form of ALS
- Application Process
- Registration required * Registration with the Society is normally done at the time of diagnosis * Register by emailing the registration form to [email protected], or fax the form to 416-497-8545 and a Community Lead will be in touch within two weeks * find registration information and forms online
