• coordinates patients diagnostic workups for breast abnormalities
• offers treatment options
• offers psychosocial support to patients and their families
• provides surgical assessment, planning, and perioperative care

Breast imaging services offered:

• digital Mammography
• ultrasound
• breast MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)
• core needle biopsy

• Referral by a family physician or another doctor who has completed an initial assessment of the breast abnormality
• if this is not possible, call the centre and speak to a nurse about their concerns and obtain a referral to the centre
