- Emergency shelter for individuals who have been involved in a sexually exploitative situation.
Participants are not required to be free from substance use, compliant with mental health or addiction treatment plans, or agree to participate in programs to receive services and housing support.
Advocates are available 24/7 to:- assist in crisis management
- use individual strengths to identify personal and housing goals
- safety and crisis planning
- empower and motivate survivors towards independence
- provide information and referrals as required
- provide support on a transition out of shelter
- Eligibility
- Female and non-male identifying individuals who have been involved in a sexually exploitative situation
- Application Process
- Referral required. Referrals can come from shelter and housing providers, physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, psychologists, counsellors, police officers, school board, community agencies, or any other professional with a working knowledge of the individual's current needs.
