Settlement and community services for newcomers

  • 1:1 case management/settlement services with an assigned worker
  • group programs: information and orientation to life in Canada, informal English language learning for children and adults, opportunities to connect with others, financial literacy for newcomers, youth programs
  • mental health support for newcomers including those who have experienced war, trauma or persecution
  • professional mentoring and networking support for newcomers
  • private sponsorship of refugees
  • notary public services
Eligibility
Open to all newcomers including 2SLGBTQ+ newcomers; newcomers do not have to be Jewish to receive services
