Description

Matches potential tenants to vacancies in contracted permanent or transitional housing

  • administers subsidy program to landlords; funds and monitors 45 boarding homes and 31 apartment units
  • monitors and works cooperatively with homes to maintain standards and awareness of tenants' needs
  • provides on-site support services including social and recreational opportunities to tenants
Eligibility
Individuals 16 years and older with mental health challenges that are seriously impacting their lives Supportive Housing applicants must qualify for a housing subsidy under the criteria set by the Ministry of Health, and are willing to accept some level of support from the housing provider Residency Requirements: Must be living/staying or planning to live/stay in Toronto
