- Free, in-home 12-week exercise program designed specifically for older adults living at home.
Program includes:- 10 simple, progressive exercises taught and guided by a trained support staff or volunteer
- Evidence based, best practice program nationally, developed by the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging (CCAA) in partnership with Western University
- Materials provided to assist individuals to exercise independently, such as exercise guide and tracking sheets
- 3 levels of exercise support available (seated, seated and weight bearing, and ambulatory)
- Focus on strength, balance, and flexibility, toward maintaining/improving functional abilities and fall prevention
