Adjustment Advisory Program
- Description
Provides advisory and financial assistance to help clients adjust to the impacts of job loss, or threatened job loss, in the workplace
- services are aimed at helping impacted workers secure and maintain employment
- clients include individual firms, organizations, employees, communities and sectors
- helps workers identify employment and social needs, and secure appropriate support
- adjustment committees are often established to ensure full participation of all affected parties in the process
- Eligibility
- Ontario employers, and their employees, undergoing downsizing or closure affecting 50 or more employeesCommunities and entire industrial sectors are also eligible to participate when they are experiencing massive economic or structural changes
