- Description
- Non-medical residential alcohol and drug detoxification at 989 Danforth Ave (women) and 985 Danforth Ave (men); individuals who identify as non-binary, two-spirit and trans are welcome at the site they feel most comfortable in.
Services at both sites include:- primary care, assistance with non-complex medical withdrawal complications
- counselling, education on stages of withdrawal, psychoeducation and process groups
- change plan coaching
- assessments and referrals for additional treatment, connections to other community resources,
- Eligibility
- Individuals 16 years and older who are in an acute state of intoxication or withdrawal from alcohol or other substances
