Substance Use Service

  • assessment and treatment of substance use issues and concurrent mental health needs
  • harm reduction education and supplies including overdose prevention
  • brief individual counselling; group counselling/support
  • management of acute withdrawal from alcohol and opioids
  • medication assisted treatment; opioid and benzodiazepine tapers; transition to buprenorphine
  • referral to longer-term treatment

Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic -- addiction assessment and care for people without connections to other addiction treatment; drop in or Digital Front Door for those who cannot access services in-person

Eligibility
Individuals 16 years and older who have problematic use of alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, cannabis or other drugs Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic - patients in urgent need of an assessment
Application Process
Substance Use Service - by appointment; physician or self referral

Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic - drop in during program hours; no appointment or referral required; access Digital Front Door on website
