Description
One-on-one tutoring and support for literacy, English reading, writing, English as a Second Language (ESL), General Education Development (GED) high school equivalency preparation, high school diploma completion
  • lessons conducted virtually, tablets provided if accessibility is an issue, contact for details
Eligibility
Adults 18 years and older, with less than grade 12 English literacy level, working toward GED or high school diploma or in need of ESL support
  • youth struggling with English reading and writing, including ESL
  • current or former inmates of Toronto South Detention Centre
  • must self identify as not being able to afford literacy training at for-profit centres
