Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities Benefit (ACSD)
  • financial assistance for families who have children with severe physical and developmental disabilities
  • monthly amount based on severity of disability, family income and special costs incurred
Eligibility
Children and youth birth-18 years with a developmental or physical disability, and their families
Must be residents of Ontario, and require supports beyond what most families can provide, and must also be living with their family, or living outside family home and are not supported by other residential services
Residency Requirements: York, Waterloo, Halton, and Peel regions; also Wellington, Dufferin, and Simcoe counties
