Offers people with disabilities an opportunity to ski and snowboard with support of trained volunteers and adaptive equipment
- programs located across Ontario
- Performance Development Program - for those who are more independent and have a need for speed
- volunteers constantly needed to help support on the ski hill, with program administration and on Board of Directors
Programs held at:
- Sault Ste Marie (Searchmont), Haliburton (Sir Sam's), Huronia (The Heights), Barrie (Snow Valley), Huronia (Horseshoe Resort), Mansfield, and Oshawa, (Brimacombe)
- Performance Development Program is offered at Craigleith Ski Club in Collingwood.
- Eligibility
- Children, youth and adults with disabilities who require additional support and are unable to participate with existing ski schools ; volunteers must 16 years or older and are required to complete Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Application Process
- Physician's permission, medical history, required
- individual assessments necessary to determine suitability for program
- registration begins in September/October at individual participating locations

- must obtain CADS membership ($47) for participation, but membership does not guarantee placement in program and should only be purchased after acceptance into program
