Description

Assessment, and individual and group treatment for moderate to severe mental health concerns affecting children and adolescents 5-18 years and under including

  • disorders such as anxiety, adjustment disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder or psychosis
  • significant disturbing behaviors such as school refusal or avoidance, self-injury and suicidal ideation or behaviours
  • secondary mental health concerns due to gender dysphoria, eating disorders or autism spectrum disorder

Adolescent Treatment and Learning Alternative Service (ATLAS)

  • day treatment program for adolescents 12-18 years who suffer from depression and/or anxiety and are having significant problems attending school
  • classroom environment; offers a unique high school credit
  • individual and group therapy
  • parent education and support
Eligibility
Children and youth 5-18 years and under residing in Eastern York Region and North Durham Region; Atlas Day Treatment Program - 12-18 years living in York Region
