In-Home Respite

• personal care

• service by Personal Support Workers
• caregiver relief to family

Adult Day Programs

• located in Clarington, Pickering, Uxbridge and Whitby
• social and recreational activities in a group setting
• assistance with daily living activities
• lunch and refreshments

LEAP Program (Long-Term Emergency Avoidance Program)

• assist adults with needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health to remain at home, postponing long term care placement and reducing avoidable hospital emergency department use
• client-centred assistance with routine living activities
• bathing, dressing
• light housekeeping
• meal preparation
• laundry
• local drives by Personal Support Workers

Assisted Living Services (ALS)

• available in limited areas in Ajax, Clarington, Oshawa and Whitby
• for high risk seniors who can reside at home, but may require personal support
• homemaking
• security checks and reassurance services on a scheduled and unscheduled basis
