Mental health assistance to adolescents and their families in the Durham Region

Counselling

  • individual, family and group therapy

Quick Access Clinic

  • single session counselling for adolescents 12-18 years and/or their parents/caregivers; family accompaniment welcome

Crisis Services

  • community-based telephone crisis support services

Day Treatment

  • treatment of adolescents includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
    • works with clients to develop treatment goals and needs based on admission assessment
    • focus on ways to increase success in academic setting
    • includes counselling services

Live-In Treatment

  • 24/7 live-in program includes day treatment and counselling services
    • Frontenac LIT (Oshawa)
    • gender inclusive
Eligibility
Youth 12-18 years experiencing mental, social, and emotional difficulties, and their families
Application Process
Self referral through Central Intake Services; Quick Access Clinic requires completed telephone intake through Central Intake Services
