Participation House Project

Assisted living and community participation services provided to adults with developmental and physical disabilities who reside within Durham Region

• assisted living support including congregate living environments, community based housing support, supported independent living, transitional support to independent living
• services and supports promote individualized skill development based on goals identified through assessments and planning for each person to reach optimum degree of self-sufficiency
• community participation and Passport program support to become active community members through social engagement or the development of meaningful social roles
• respite support - regular schedule of social activities and the Life Readiness Program, an overnight summer program
