Description

The Sexual Health and Communicable Diseases Division provides services to protect the public from reportable and sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

Healthy Sexuality Clinics

  • healthy sexuality clinics can be found throughout the Region, see separate entries
  • Peel residents receive confidential counselling and clinical services related to birth control and sexually transmitted infections including anonymous HIV/AIDS testing

Immunization Program

  • school-based clinics
  • coordinates vaccine distribution to doctors in Peel
  • monitors immunization records for all students

The Communicable Diseases Section provides monitoring, reporting and follows up on certain communicable diseases including Tuberculosis
