Short Stay Crisis Support Program
- Description
- Voluntary, 24-7 client-centered support services as an alternative to incarceration or hospitalization
- a safe and healthy environment promoting crisis de-escalation and recovery-based services
- accommodation and support including basic needs, risk assessment, short-term care plan, discharge plan, coordination and linkage to other community support services, specialized case management, clinical interventions, services that promote clients' wellness and reintegration into the community
- maximum stay of 14 days
Locations in Mississauga and Brampton - Eligibility
- Individuals 16 years and older experiencing a mental health crisis which has or could put them at risk of involvement with the criminal justice system
