Aphasia and Communication Disabilities Program
- Description
Group communication programs for adults with aphasia (communication challenges) after experiencing a stroke, head injury, or brain illness
- speech language pathologist, communicative disorders assistance, and trained volunteers work to help participants practice communication skills
- support families with understanding and learning about aphasia and other communication disabilities
- strengthening intact abilities and exploring new communication strategies and skills
