S.H.I.F.T. is committed to the health and safety of participants as well as staff and volunteers. Specific expectations regarding cleaning and the use of PPE are implemented under the direction of the local public health authority. S.H.I.F.T. provides safe, respectful and welcoming overnight accommodation, meals and outreach supports to those experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness and/or food insecurity in South Simcoe. Facilitates connection to other services and resources in the community.
Three programs offered:
Emergency Overnight Shelter, Outreach and Daytime Drop-In Centre.Shelter: Serving men, women & youth nightly during the winter months, with access to a safe, warm bed, food, shower, basic needs and supplies, hard reduction supplies and onsite supports and resources to assist in finding temporary or permanent housing solutions.

Outreach: A Housing-Focused program offering mobile supports throughout South Simcoe to individuals, couples and families experiencing or on the verge of homelessness, providing access to life saving resources, supplies, referrals, and supports through brief case management.
- Access to basic needs, personal hygiene, and harm reduction supplies, as well as access to food and food resources.
Daytime Drop-In Center: Open to men, women & youth experiencing homelessness and food insecurity daily, with access to shower, food, basic needs and supplies, harm reduction supplies and computer workstation for participant use. Staff are onsite to assist with accessing resources and to provide necessary supports towards reaching housing goals.

Program hours are subject to change and may vary depending on need. Call or email to confirm program availability. All programming is primarily based out of a building located at 123 Victoria St. W.
