Description
Provides emergency assistance for those in need in the community, including:

Emergency Assistance Program:
  • Helps to meet three basic needs - food, clothing, household items
  • Personal hygiene items and baby supplies also provided
  • Voucher for clothing assistance from Salvation Army Thrift Store
  • Program is available to anyone who finds themselves in need of a little help
  • Emergency shelter may be arranged to help find people a temporary place to spend the night when extraordinary circumstances arise
  • Emergency Disaster Services Vehicle
Laundry Service is now available on premises:
  • No charge to members of community who do not have access to housing
  • Service is offered on Tuesdays only from 11 am-3 pm on an appointment basis
  • 1 wash, 1 dry per visit
  • laundry detergent provided
Christmas Assistance:
  • Provides food assistance, gift cards and toys for Christmas Day to families needing a helping hand
  • Registration for Christmas Assistance starts in November and continues until early December
  • Proof of address, income and identification for each person living in household is required
2023 Registration Dates:

Back to School Assistance:
  • Provides backpacks with school supplies to families that need help
  • Deadline for 2023: August 10, 2023
  • Backpacks and supplies will be distributed end of August
