- Provides financial assistance and employment assistance to individuals in financial need. Services to clients include:
- employment support- referrals to community services including Housing and Children Services
- discretionary benefits maybe available to people receiving OW or ODSP on a case by case basis
- Eligibility
- Must be eligible as per Ontario Works regulations. Eligibility is financial, based on income and assets.

- Apply in person, by phone or online at www.ontario.ca/socialassistance * a staff member will contact you to schedule an in-office review of your application * you will need to bring detailed information and documentation to the appointment
