Two transitional housing programs for youth
- one for youth aged 16-18 (Jacky's Place) and one for youth aged 19-24 (Harris House)
- clients can live at one of the properties for up to a year, paying nominal rent contribution, with the possibility of extension
- intensive case management and life skills training
- Eligibility
- Youth 16-24 years, legal status in Canada
Must have some established sources of income or benefits to contribute to rent and living expenses, and have goals to expand their income to achieve self-sufficiency within the year - Application Process
- Referral through the region's By-Name list, which requires a screening and intake process
