- Public Health has two dental clinics, one in Cambridge and one in Waterloo. Both clinics are staffed by dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants.
Children, 17 years or younger who meet the eligibility requirements, receive free basic services, including checkups, preventive services (such as scaling, fluoride and sealants) and fillings. - Eligibility
- Must live in Waterloo Region
- Children under 18 whose family meets the financial eligibility thresholds
- Adults age 18 and older who meet the financial eligibility thresholds

- To determine the financial eligibility, call 519-575-4400 ext. 3086, or fill out the Income Assessment located here
- Documents Required
- Successful applicants will be contacted by dental clinic staff to set up an appointment for the child(ren). Bring Notice of Assessment(s) or proof of income at child's first appointment to confirm the required financial eligibility If child(ren) is/are enrolled in Healthy Smiles Ontario, Healthy Smiles Ontario card must be presented at every dental visit
