Hamilton Regional Indian Centre Youth in Transition
- Description
Assists First Nations, Metis, and Inuit youth currently in care or exiting the child welfare system in the development of life skills, and connection with jobs, educational supports, mental health supports, housing needs, and advocacy. Assistance is offered in supporting youth to identify and achieve their goals. Needs are reviewed and where they currently at in their lives to create ways for them to be successful.
- Eligibility
- First Nations, Metis, and Inuit youth, between the ages of 16-24 years old, in care of Hamilton Child and Family Supports or Catholic Children's Aid Society.
