Haldimand-Norfolk REACH
Crisis Stabilization and Case Management Program
- Description
After contact with the Child and Youth Crisis Service, a REACH Crisis worker and their CYCS supervisor may determine that a short-term plan for support is to be put into place
This may be necessary when there are many complex issues that need to be resolved. By providing this short-term support, often a crisis can be stabilized until other resources can be found to help the child or youth. This may involve connecting families and youth to other Child and Youth Mental Health programs or to other community partner agencies who will be able to provide supportive service- Eligibility
- Children/youth who are under 18 years of age, and their families, who require longer support than can be provided by the Child and Youth Crisis Service
