Midwives provide a balance of traditional and contemporary midwifery services and programs:
- pregnancy tests
- prenatal care
- labour and birth care
- home or centre births
- educational and emotional support
- postpartum care
- breastfeeding support
- pap tests
Programs available:
- prenatal class
- mom and tots group
- female self-care
- annual birth celebration
- FASD/Child Nutrition Program
- family/maternal resource library
- Indigenous Midwifery Training Program

- Application Process
- Midwives do an initial assessment to determine if a woman's current pregnancy is low risk. If it is determined that a pregnancy is not low risk then the midwife will refer the client to an appropriate health care provider
