Description

Responsible for the administration and management of housing units and provides rent supplements within the City of Brantford and the County of Brant

  • own and operate community housing units


Municipal Housing - a division of the City of Brantford Housing Department

  • provides professional property management services for city-owned residential housing located within the City of Brantford and County of Brant County, including both subsidized and non-subsidized residential housing properties
  • provides contract management services for municipal and private non-profit housing corporations on a fee-for-service basis
Eligibility
Over 16 years of age and legally residing in Ontario. Eligibility for rent geared to income housing units follows the guidelines of the Service Manager of the City of Brantford and the Housing Services Act, 2011

The Housing Department provides assistance and programs to those in need of housing, shelter, persons living in social housing units as well as persons living in substandard housing
