Housing support and settlement services, including information and referrals to other services

• assists low income youth, families, newcomers and seniors in determining housing needs and with applications to York Region Subsidized Housing and Special Priority
• assistance with applications for Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP)
• information sessions on subsidized housing and utility assistance, as well as Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Support Program
• mediation for landlords and tenants, including connections to community resources and long- term support
• landlord registry, including recruitment of landlords, free rental listings, and landlord and tenant matching
• information on landlord and tenant rights and responsibilities
