- Handles any action for the payment of money or the recovery of possession of personal property where the amount claimed does not exceed $35,000, excluding interest and costs such as court fees.

- To start a claim, fill out the Plaintiff's Claim form (found online) and file it online, in person, or by mail at the courthouse in the town or city where defendant resides or carries on business, or where cause of action arose.
