Home Support

• Meals on Wheels
• nutritious hot or frozen meals delivered by volunteers to clients in their homes

Transportation

• drives available primarily for medical appointments, and when time allows for shopping and errands

Luncheon Out

• opportunity for clients to enjoy a nutritious meal and entertainment in a social setting

Friendly Visiting

• volunteers visit on a regular basis to share in activities and provide companionship to clients

Telephone Reassurance

• daily Monday to Friday telephone calls to clients for a friendly check-in and brief chat. Checks on their well-being and reassures them that help is available if and when needed

Foot Care Clinics

• services are provided by registered foot care nurses for those who cannot manage their own foot care

WeConnect Mental Health and Wellness

• group support
• trained staff and volunteers facilitate support, coping skills, educational and social/recreational groups

In-Home Respite

• Personal Support Workers (PSWs) are trained to maintain a safe environment and provide personal care, assistance with the activities of daily living, social interactions, meal preparation, client-centered light homemaking

Adult Day Program

• safe and comfortable setting for clients to enjoy a wide array of social and recreational programs, and at the same time provides a break for caregivers

Assisted Living Services (ALS)

• high-risk seniors who can reside at home, but may require personal support, homemaking, security checks and reassurance services on a scheduled and unscheduled 24/7 basis * available in limited areas in Ajax, Clarington, Oshawa and Whitby

Home At Last

• assists clients at no charge in settling in their homes safely and comfortably after a stay in hospital
