When a scheduled pick-up time changes outside of the 20-minute pick-up window, DRT will contact and advise customers by phone at least two hours before the trip
Trip cancellations must be made four or more hours prior to trip - Eligibility
- Person with a disability that prevents them from using conventional transit service for all or part of a trip
Could be due to a visual, sensory, cognitive or physical disability, and could be either short-term or long-term
One person may accompany a client - notify the dispatcher to confirm available space - Application Process
- Complete Eligibility Application Form durhamregiontransit.com/en/routes-and-schedules/registration-and-forms.aspx and send by mail to 110 Westney Rd S, Ajax ON L1S 2C8 or fax
Applications reviewed within 14 days of receiving completed application, DRT will confirm eligibility by mail
Applicants are required to attend an in-person interview and/or assessment unless otherwise advised
