Ontario Bridge Training Program - Queen Office
- Description
Assists highly skilled internationally trained immigrants (ITIs) gain equivalent work experience in Ontario
- regulated occupation (for example, nursing, engineering, etc.)
- non-regulated occupation currently in demand, such as information technology, financial services
Bridge to Registration and Employment in Mental Health (BREM) Program
- for internationally trained professionals with background in psychotherapy who wish to register with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- main goal is to help participants meet requirements for registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, CRPO as RPs (Qualifying) as well as preparing them for employment in the field.
- Eligibility
- Adults 18 years or older, with a post-secondary certificate or degree from outside Canada, who are residents of Ontario and have international work experience in a profession or trade; must be permanent resident, Canadian citizen, Convention refugee or refugee claimant eligible to work in Canada, with English proficiency that meets Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 7 or above
