On Site Transitional Housing


Description
Provides transitional housing, and assists with setting goals that will lead to more independence, including:
  • skills development
  • support
  • self esteem improvement
  • advocacy, and
  • referrals to other programs and services that might be of benefit
Clients may stay in On-Site housing for up to a year
Eligibility
Women ages 16 years and over and her children requiring transitional housing upon leaving the shelter
Application Process
Requires the resident to have stayed in shelter for 30 days to determine suitability for communal living; application for the onsite transitional housing is internal
