Children's Services and Child Care Fee Subsidy
- Description
- Child care fee subsidy
- provides financial assistance towards the cost of child care in licensed programs, as per the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA)
- child care subsidy may be available for families who are both financially eligible, and either working/attending school full-time/part-time
- child care supports may also be available to Ontario Works participants engaged in approved Ontario Works activities
- families and children who have special needs or circumstances may also be eligible
- subsidized child care is available in centres, home child care agencies and summer camps, which are licensed and have a contractual agreement with the City of Brantford
Families requesting child care fee subsidy will need to have child care or find child care through Onelist, an online centralized child care waitlist registry and information service at BrantfordBrantonelist.ca. - Eligibility
- child is 12 years old or younger
- parent is working, going to school or has a child with special needs
- parental income meets the requirements
- live in the City of Brantford or County of Brant
