Prenatal and Parenting Support
- support during pregnancy and for parents of at-risk children birth to 6 years, in partnership with Toronto Public Health (see separate listing)
- Building Brighter Futures promotes healthy pregnancy and health and social development of children through early parenting groups and education groups, and prenatal nutrition programs
- Healthy Babies Healthy Children home-visiting program for families, including prenatal and early years support
Family Support Network
one on one support for parents and caregivers of children from birth to 6 years
support around topics including sibling dynamics, challenging behaviours, communication, big feelings/self-regulation, cooperation, social skills, and daily routines
serving families in the Black Creek and St. James Town neighbourhoods
Provincial Youth Outreach Worker (YOW) Program
building relationships with youth to support and facilitate their access to opportunities, solutions and resources within their own communities
Community Outreach Intervention Initiative (COII)
individual and family services and group programs
serves children and youth living in the Black Creek, St. James Town and Flemingdon Park communities who are experiencing barriers to accessing mental health care
