  • recent newcomer professionals are matched with established professionals in occupation-specific mentoring relationships
  • assistance in identifying skills required by the market and adapting to Canadian workplace culture and expectations through the mentoring relationships, and referral to employment services
  • access to professional networks
Eligibility
Internationally trained professionals who are unemployed or underemployed, who have lived in Canada less than 5 years, have no prior Canadian work experience in their field but at least 2 years of work experience outside Canada in their area of expertise

Residency Requirements: City of Toronto, Peel Region, Vaughan (in York Region)
