Travel Treatment Fund
- Description
Offers short-term financial assistance to cover some costs of travelling to cancer treatments including fuel and public transit fares.
- Eligibility
- Open to those with a cancer diagnosis and are currently or soon will be undergoing treatment. Live less that 200km away from the treatment centre and will have a minimum of 10 in-person treatment related appointments OR live 200+km away from the treatment centre and will have at lease 1 in-person treatment related appointment. Meet the household income criteria listed on the application form. Have not received Travel Treatment Funding or transportation support through Wheels of Hope in the previous 12 months.
