Employment program assists newcomers with:
- career and employment goals and/or entrepreneurial options in a new cultural context
- ongoing counselling and support from employment agencies and programs
- successful integration into the Canadian workforce
- individual counselling
- group programming
- online learning
- employment agency connections and coaching
This is an administrative office only
- Eligibility
- Permanent Residents or Convention Refugees who:
- are struggling to find employment appropriate to their education, skills, and experience; or want to develop their own business
- need individual support to cope with stress
- looking for personal and organizational connections within the community
- have English communication skills at CLB 5 or higher
- able to commit time to each component of the program to work towards their goals
