Housing Stability Program
- Description
Financial assistance for people receiving Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program who are behind on rental, mortgage or utility payments, including:
- last month's rent
- rental arrears
- utility arrears
- moving expenses and household item allowances
Follow-up support may be provided for eligible recipients for up to 6 months after receiving benefits.

- Unhoused persons, or persons at risk of losing housing and are recipients of Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program
Must not have received Housing Stability assistance from this program in the last 2 years Residency requirement: York Region - Application Process
