Services include emergency medical response including- automatic defibrillation
- vehicle accidents and extrications
- public hazards
- hazardous material incidents (awareness level)
- search and rescue services
- water and ice rescue
- disaster and emergency planning
- fire prevention services
- fire prevention inspections and public education
Fire Department is directed by a full-time Fire Chief working with 80 dedicated volunteers
- Volunteer Fire Fighters complete a recruit training program in accordance with provincial standards as well as bi-weekly in-station training
