Flu and COVID Vaccine Clinics
- Description
Spring and Fall
Flu season generally runs from October to April each year. The best defense against the flu is the flu shot and is recommended for everyone 6 months old and and older. The flu shot helps to protect individual, family and community health and prevents increases in flu-related hospital visits.
Flu shots can be administered by:- Family doctor or primary care provider (ages 6 months and older)
- Pharmacy (2 years of age and older)
- Pharmacies now carry the high-dose flu vaccine for older adults
