- Food Bank operations Tue and Thu, 10 am-12 noon by appointment only
- Emergency Services Response will be in operation where required from our Regional Office as required
- phone calls to local office will be accepted in this regard
Provides emergency assistance to those in need in many different ways:
- food assistance
- clothing
- temporary shelter
- pastoral counselling
- information about and referral to other agencies
- community services (Eg. camping services, Christmas assistance, etc)
- emergency disaster services (operated Regionally)
- Eligibility
Assistance available to individuals who have been receiving General Welfare from the Region of Halton, for a period of time in excess of three months, or Family Benefits from the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS). Screening process follows.
