- Eligibility
- Residents of Toronto who are behind on rent and are on the lease as a lease holder, or persons moving to Toronto and need assistance with a rental deposit Applicants must be paying market rent for a rental unit covered by the Residential Tenancies Act and not spending more than 85% of household income on rent, further details available online Must not be current recipients of Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

Arrears applicants: confirmation of arrears (letter from landlord or tenet ledger), eviction notice, or Landlord Tenant Board documents
Deposit applicants: letter from new landlord or lease, and confirmation of rental deposit amount
