Description

Lakelands District Health Unit's team of Dental Health Professionals offer preventive oral health services.

Services include:

Eligibility
Dental Health Clinics, Dental Health in Schools and Health Smiles Ontario (HSO); services for children 0-17 years: children of families who do not have dental insurance or the ability to pay for them privately. Visit Dental Health for Children and Youth 0-17 for detailed information.
Dental Health for seniors: 65 years of age or older; resident of Ontario; meet income requirements; have no other form of dental benefits, including private insurance or dental coverage under another government program such as Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program or Non-Insured Health Benefits. Visit Dental Health for Seniors 65+ for detailed information.
Canadian Dental Health Care Plan (CDCP) is helping make the cost of dental care more affordable for eligible Canadian residents. Annual adjusted family net income of less than $90,000; do not have access to dental insurance (individuals enrolled on Healthy Smiles Ontario or Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program can enroll on CDCP); be a Canadian resident for tax purposes; have filed your tax return for the previous year.
